Automotive Customizer - Vinyl Wrap & Tint Technician (1099 Contractor)

We are a new, rapidly growing automotive customization brand seeking an experienced, high-level Independent 1099 Contractor specializing in Vinyl Wraps, Window Tinting, and Chrome Deletes. If you run your own mobile/freelance wrap business or are a seasoned technician looking to secure steady, high-paying project contracts without the hassle of hunting for clients, we want to partner with you. We take care of the heavy lifting: we handle the marketing, bring in the clients, manage the logistics, and provide 100% of the raw materials (premium cast vinyl films, ceramic window tints, etc.). You simply bring your personal tools, your high standards, and your expertise to execute flawless installations in our facility.

Scope of Work Full & Partial Vinyl Wraps:

Complete seamless color-change wraps and commercial fleet graphics on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.

Window Tinting:

High-quality application of window film, delivering clean, micro-edged glass cuts with zero bubbling, creasing, or dust contamination.

Chrome Deletes:

Precise blackout trim customization utilizing knifeless tape and detailed tucking techniques.

Teardown & Prep:

Safely disassemble necessary hardware (mirrors, handles, emblems, light housings) and perform deep surface decontamination to guarantee flawless adhesion.

Post-Heating:

Follow strict manufacturer guidelines for post-heating all recessed areas and edges to prevent lifting or failure.

Contractor Requirements Proven Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of professional, hands-on experience in vehicle wrapping and automotive window tinting. (A digital portfolio or photos of past work showing close-ups of corners, seams, and door jams is required). Tools of the

Trade:

Must possess and maintain your own professional installation tools (heat guns, torches, squeegees, specialty blades, wrap sticks, magnets).

Reliability:

Exceptional timeline management and an eye for absolute perfection.

Legal:

Must operate as an independent contractor (1099) eligible to work in the US. Milestone-Based Payout Structure We respect our contractors' cash flow and do not make you wait weeks for a paycheck. We operate on a strict, guaranteed Project Milestone Payout Structure for every vehicle assignment: 1. Milestone 1 (33%): Paid immediately upon successful vehicle disassembly, deep surface decontamination, and glass prep. 2. Milestone 2 (33%): Paid immediately upon completion of the main bulk vinyl panels and window tint application. 3. Milestone 3 (34%): Paid immediately following hardware reassembly, final post-heating checks, and quality sign-off.
