Car Wash Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician - Carwash St Louis, MO Job Summary We are looking for a full-time maintenance technician to service our customers(car dealerships) in the greater St Louis, MO area. The Carwash Field Maintenance Technician will go to customer locations and completing both basic routine maintenance and advanced repairs. This is a remote position as our company is based in Minneapolis. However, you will be closely connected to our in-house service team for help with troubleshooting, submitting weekly reports, and for any new product training. Previous maintenance experience and a clean driving record is required. Responsibilities Installing equipment and testing new equipment Conduct routine monthly preventative maintenance Conducting emergency repairs Meeting with the customer to determine nature of service and repairs Maintaining equipment stock in company vehicle Completed job reports submitted weekly Complete basic maintenance requests Qualifications and Skills A valid driver's license and no major moving violations, required. Maintain positive relationships with existing customers. Having past field experience, traveling to customers at their facility locations, is a plus. Possess a basic understanding of mechanical repairs and diagnostics that will be built upon with training is required. Ability to work with car wash parts weighing up to 50 pounds and some as high up as 8'. Mechanical knowledge with basic maintenance requests; including preventive maintenance and inspections. Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and small engine repairs Proficient with operating a variety of tools including: hand tools, power tools and shop tools Must have your own set of basic hand tools (specialized tools will be provided) Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision Key qualifications

Must Have:

Driver's License, Hand tools, Mechanical knowledge Preferred skills and experience: Automotive repair, Dealership experience, Machining, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical experience

Pay:

Location:

This service technician will be responsible for all of our customers in the greater St Louis, MO area, commuting by company vehicle. Infrequently we may request a longer commitment from you that may require overnight travel.
