In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance. Your expertise will help keep production running smoothly, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and a passion for problem-solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and electrical components. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Repair or replace defective parts using welding (including welding), precision measuring instruments, and other mechanical tools. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management. Conduct electrical diagnostics involving high voltage and low voltage systems using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices. Support field service operations by providing technical assistance on-site or remotely to resolve equipment failures quickly. Maintain compliance with safety regulations related to industrial maintenance, HVAC/R systems, and high-voltage electrical work. Assist in the installation of new machinery or upgrades while ensuring adherence to engineering specifications. Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze failure modes and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial maintenance environment with a strong mechanical background. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician skills, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and inventory control. Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and precision measuring instruments. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately. Strong analysis skills combined with troubleshooting expertise in electrical diagnostics involving high voltage and low voltage systems. Experience with industrial mechanics, electrical diagnostics, field service operations, and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and customer service interactions. Additional assets include military experience, knowledge of engineering troubleshooting methods, experience with scissor lifts or similar equipment, and familiarity with schematics related to manufacturing machinery.
