This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of recreational vehicles, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. As a Mobile RV Technician, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a broad spectrum of issues, providing exceptional customer service while showcasing your mechanical and electrical expertise. Your hands-on skills will keep recreational vehicles in top condition, helping customers enjoy their adventures with confidence and peace of mind. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, and wheel alignments. Troubleshoot complex issues related to transmissions, diesel engines, shocks & struts, and automotive electrical systems using advanced diagnostic tools. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, equipment repair, welding, soldering, and general maintenance tasks. Inspect and repair specialized systems such as air brakes, HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and auto body components to ensure safety and compliance. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle maintenance. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work adheres to safety standards and quality protocols. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive or RV repair environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Electrical experience including automotive electrical systems troubleshooting and soldering skills. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, alignment, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, and HVAC servicing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various hand tools and power tools efficiently. Experience working with transmissions, diesel engines, auto body repair, welding techniques, plumbing systems, and equipment repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., ASE certification).
