Job Description

Mobile RV Technician The Opportunity At The RV Shop, we believe world-class RVs deserve world-class care, delivered wherever our customers are. As a Mobile RV Technician, you'll bring our expertise directly to the field, delivering more than repairs—you'll provide convenience, confidence, and premium service at every stop. You'll operate your own service truck while also contributing to the shop as demand shifts, offering both independence and consistency in your role. From electrical and plumbing systems to slide-outs and sealants, your craftsmanship and independence will ensure every customer receives top-tier service. You'll be the face of our brand on the road, combining technical expertise with autonomy, efficiency, and exceptional customer experience. Your work will keep customers moving, uphold our reputation for excellence, and turn service calls into long-term relationships. What You'll Do ➢
Operate Your Own Mobile Service Truck:
Manage and maintain a fully equipped service vehicle, traveling to customer locations to perform on-site diagnostics and repairs. ➢
Perform Expert Repairs:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of RV systems—including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulic, and structural components. ➢
Inspect and Troubleshoot:
Conduct thorough on-site inspections to identify issues, determine repair needs, and provide clear, reliable solutions. ➢ Work Independently in the
Field:
Take ownership of your daily schedule, service calls, and workflow while maintaining strong communication with the team. ➢ Collaborate with the
Team:
 Work closely with Service Advisors, Foremen, and other Technicians to ensure seamless communication and workflow. ➢
Deliver Quality Workmanship:
Complete repairs with precision and pride, ensuring every RV meets our "10 out of 10 or we do it again" standard. ➢
Maintain Safety and Organization:
Keep your service truck clean, stocked, and organized while following all safety procedures on the road and at job sites. ➢
Support Continuous Improvement:
Share insights from field service calls to help improve processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. ➢ Represent the
Brand:
Serve as a professional, customer-facing ambassador of The RV Shop, delivering a high level of service, communication, and trust. Who You Are ➢ A skilled, hands-on technician who thrives working independently, with a passion for quality and precision. ➢ Experienced in RV, automotive, marine, or similar technical repair fields. ➢ Comfortable driving and managing a mobile service truck and working in field environments. ➢ Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to getting the job done right the first time. ➢ A self-starter who communicates clearly and manages time effectively. ➢ A professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and delivering exceptional customer experiences. ➢ RVIA certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
