Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Arcfield is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time IT Support Technician position on-site at Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), CA supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Unmanned Systems Program. This technician will provide technical support for Information Technology (IT) and Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity requirements and security of information systems related to
NUWCDIVNPT
Code 45 UUV Family of Systems projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills in order to provide technical and product support. Proficient in information technology and operations management. Ability to work independently on problems and projects. Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including maintaining and configuring network infrastructure Monitor and manage systems backup resources, including daily backups, restores, CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Perform systems security administration functions, including updating and patching OS and other systems and software programs. Other duties may include; setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems; assist with the maintenance and administration of applications.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
HS and 6-8 years experience Clear understanding of computer hardware Windows

Security + Active Secret level security clearance

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
