We are looking for an Entry-Level Automotive Technician / Lube Tech Apprentice to join our team at our modern, climate-controlled Volvo facility in Tiverton, RI. No prior professional mechanic experience is required—if you have a passion for cars, a strong work ethic, and basic tool skills, we will train you. This is a true career opportunity. We provide the fully paid factory training, direct master tech mentoring, and career milestones necessary to help you grow from an entry-level technician into a high-earning, Master-Certified Volvo Professional. What You Will Do (We Teach You All of This!):

Express Lane Maintenance:

Learn to perform routine preventative maintenance including quick oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and filter replacements.

Quality Control Checks:

Conduct basic multi-point vehicle inspections and take cars for test drives to verify they are running safely and perfectly before customer pick-up.

Digital Tools:

Use computer tablets and modern scanning equipment to check basic vehicle codes alongside our senior mechanics.

Shop Teamwork:

Keep your designated bay clean, organized, and safe while learning how a fast-paced luxury service center operates.

What We Are Looking For:

The Mindset:

A strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to take pride in learning a skilled trade.

Experience Level:

Entry-level. High school auto shop classes, vocational technical school training, or quick-lube experience (Jiffy Lube, Valvoline, etc.) is a big plus, but not required .

Tech Comfort:

Basic comfort using smartphones, tablets, or computers for day-to-day work tasks.

Core Requirements:

Must have a Valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record (Required). Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
