Job Description

Job Overview Columbia based Environmental company seeking a motivated individual for full time work as a Vacuum Truck Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the vacuum truck driver and other team members each day as they travel from location to location, operating the vacuum truck, opening manway covers, lifting hoses, operating the truck mounted pressure washer as well as customer communication to include some light paperwork responsibilities. Some driving of non CDL trucks my be required as needed. This job requires some industrial cleaning to include confine space and elevated work platforms. This position requires some overnight travel (approx. 3 nights per month). 40 - 50 hours per week on average, very little weekend work ever required. Hours are mostly Monday through Friday from early morning to mid-afternoon. This individual must have a valid SC drivers license with a clean record and be able to pass an NCIC background check for working on various government facilities as well as pre-employment drug screening. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Duties Assist in operating vacuum trucks safely and efficiently for the removal of liquids, sludge, and debris on various sites or industrial facilities Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment at job sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Pay:
$17.50 - $19.50 per hour
