Automotive Mechanic

AutoWorld of Conway is looking to add a technician to their staff in the service department. We are a used car lot that reconditions and retails used vehicles and also repair customer vehicles. We work Monday through Friday and a Saturday rotation schedule. Experience is required and pay is based on experience and abilities. We offer an array of benefits after 90 days. Responsibilities

• Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles.
• Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Ensure alignment and calibration of vehicle components for optimal performance.
• Service and repair automotive electrical systems as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality automotive services. Qualifications
• Automotive diagnostics and repair experience
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools for vehicle maintenance
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and powertrain components
• Familiarity with alignment procedures
• Experience in dealership settings and working with ADAS
• Ability to read schematics and perform diesel engine repair
• Strong customer service skills and experience in auto body repair
• Welding and maintenance experience, especially with GM vehicles
