Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Chevrolet Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair GM vehicles, including Chevrolet models. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspension, and powertrain components. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and repair procedures efficiently. Repair or replace components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and diesel engine repairs as needed. Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including sensors, wiring harnesses, and control modules. Maintain detailed service records, prepare auto estimating reports, and communicate repair progress clearly with customers. Qualifications Proven dealership or automotive service technician experience with a strong background in GM vehicles preferred. Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with schematics, automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience working with ADAS technology, wheel alignments, diesel engines, welding techniques, and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools required for daily tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is a plus. Pay:
$28.92 - $50.00 per hour
