SUMMARY:
Roebuck Landscaping is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on our vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, and small engines across our divisions. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring our fleet remains reliable, safe, and operationally ready to support Landscape Construction, Landscape Maintenance, and Holding Yard operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, organized, dependable, and passionate about quality workmanship. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Fleet & Equipment Maintenance Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across fleet and equipment assets. Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs before failures occur. Complete repairs in a timely and quality-focused manner. Diesel, Truck & Trailer Repair Maintain and repair diesel engines, fleet vehicles, and trailers. Troubleshoot brake, suspension, electrical, lighting, and towing systems. Assist with hydraulic and mechanical repairs. Small Engine & Landscaping Equipment Repair and maintain mowers, blowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping equipment. Perform tune-ups and seasonal preventive maintenance. Ensure equipment is safe and field ready. Shop Operations & Safety Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop. Follow OSHA and company safety procedures. Document maintenance and repair activities accurately. Assist with parts organization and inventory control. Cross Department Collaboration Work closely with Operations and the Head Mechanic to prioritize repairs. Communicate equipment issues and maintenance needs. Support overall fleet readiness across all divisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Take pride in your craft and equipment reliability. QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred. 2+ years of experience in fleet, diesel, or equipment maintenance preferred. Experience repairing diesel trucks, trailers, and hydraulic systems. Ability to repair and maintain mowers, blowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, and other small engine equipment. Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical diagnostics. Knowledge of OSHA and safe shop practices. Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems and fleet software is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Pay:
