Experienced Automotive Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems, particularly Ford, GM, Chrysler vehicles. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all repairs are performed to the highest standards. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and components. Conduct gas and diesel engine repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership or independent shop setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus. Experience working with all vehicles is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
