Automotive Service Porter

Role:

As a service porter, you'll be the face of our service department, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include assisting with vehicle check-in, maintaining cleanliness, providing customer transportation, and supporting our service team with various tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assist with service write-up and tagging customer vehicles.
• Vacuum & wash windshield of customer vehicles
• Give customers rides to their home and employer.
• Clean area around Service Department, drive, and main shop.
• Perform pick-ups and deliveries.
• Assist Service Advisors/ Technicians when requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record.
• Manual dexterity.
• Good judgment.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.

Must be outgoing and able to give a good impression to the customer.

Primary environment:

Various conditions including cold and heat, and indoor/outdoor settings including warehouse, service area, and outside of the building. Walking primarily on unleveled surfaces for periodic periods throughout the day. Including surfaces that may have automotive fluids and uneven terrain.
