OVERVIEW A
service call center representative is primarily responsible for answering inbound calls from customers regarding their vehicle service needs, scheduling service appointments, addressing inquiries about maintenance, warranty claims, and resolving customer concerns related to repairs, along with making outbound calls, all while providing excellent customer service and upholding brand standards.
Key responsibilities may include:
Handling inbound and outbound calls: Answering customer calls regarding service appointments, questions about vehicle maintenance, warranty inquiries, and general service concerns. Making calls to customers on these matters as well.
Appointment scheduling:
Efficiently booking service appointments based on customer availability and vehicle needs.
Customer information gathering:
Obtaining necessary details about the vehicle, service history, and customer concerns to accurately assess the situation.
Problem resolution:
Addressing customer complaints, troubleshooting issues, and finding solutions within company guidelines.
Customer follow-up:
Reaching out to customers regarding appointment reminders, service updates, and post-service satisfaction checks.
System updates:
Accurately documenting customer interactions, service details, and relevant information within the dealership management system.
Technical knowledge:
Maintaining a basic understanding of vehicle systems, maintenance schedules, and common repair issues.
