Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. This role involves working on various vehicles, utilizing both hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all work meets dealership standards. The Automotive Technician will also be responsible for diagnosing issues using schematics and providing exceptional service to our customers. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately. Execute repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including but not limited to engine repairs, brake systems, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Perform 2-wheel and 4-wheel alignments using modern equipment Diagnose and replace suspension components (control arms, ball joints, struts, shocks, etc.) Complete brake jobs including pads, rotors, and calipers Assist with basic maintenance services (fluid exchanges, belts, filters) Maintain detailed notes in work orders and follow proper repair procedures Keep work area clean, organized, and safe Work collaboratively with technicians and service writers Experience Proven experience in automotive service and repair, preferably in a dealership environment. Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with schematics, mechanical systems, and electronic components of vehicles. Experience with ADAS technologies is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required.
