Job Description

Woodward Performance in Greenback, TN is an automotive performance business that specializes in power and performance upgrades for a wide range of cars and trucks. We're seeking an automotive technician with at least 5 years of automotive technician/mechanic experience. Performance systems knowledge/experience is a significant plus (superchargers, turbochargers, etc). A strong technical/mechanical aptitude is a must. Typical tasks include diagnosing and repairing vehicle system failures that include all parts of the vehicle from bumper to bumper (mechanical, electrical, computer, etc).
Basic Requirements:
At least 5 years of automotive technician/mechanic experience. Ability to use computers and tablets with shop management software (reading instructions, entering diagnostic results, etc). Valid driver's license. Calm, respectful, cooperative, and humble personality and demeanor. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service. Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects. References from previous employers. Must be teachable and eager to learn. Pay rate is determined by experience, knowledge, and the ability to contribute to the growth of the company. Since this is custom performance work, pay will be hourly. Flat-rate is negotiable if desired. This is a W2 position.
