Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicle such as Land Rover, Audi, Volkswagen, Subaru with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, gas and diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Suspension work to optimize vehicle handling and safety. Service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, including GM vehicles when applicable. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Ensure all repairs adhere to safety standards, quality control procedures, and industry best practices. Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle using auto estimating software and service documentation systems. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS technology, and powertrain components. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and transmission servicing. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Familiarity with diesel engine repair and auto estimating software is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training is preferred.
