Tractor & Trailer Service Technician TEG Trailer Leasing TEG Trailer Leasing is seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor and Trailer Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands‑on mechanical experience and is capable of performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on commercial trailers and tractor units. Key Responsibilities Perform tire and brake replacement on tractors and trailers. Demonstrate a solid understanding of both spring and air‑ride suspension systems. Service and install axle wheel‑end assemblies , including hubs, drums, bearings, seals, and races. Follow proper torque procedures for axle‑nut installation with precision. Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring systems , including: Exterior and interior lighting 7‑way receptacles Switches and related electrical components Service and repair: Swing doors and roll‑up doors Trailer tires and wheels Perform minor body repairs , general maintenance , and undercarriage repairs . Demonstrate the ability to weld steel components in multiple positions. Qualifications Prior experience in trailer or heavy‑duty vehicle maintenance is required. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality workmanship.
