Emergency Vehicle Upfit Technician

On-Duty Depot is currently hiring Emergency Vehicle upfitters in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. On-Duty Depot is a fast-growing company with family values.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older. Must possess a valid drivers license. Two years of experience is desired, but not required. Knowledge of vehicle wiring is desired but not required. Experience w/ installation of emergency lighting is desired, but not required.' Able to communicate well with others.

No Felony Charges or Convictions Responsibilities:

Have a general understanding of installation procedures and wiring diagrams as they apply to mobile computers, mobile radios, mounting components, and peripherals as they apply to each project. Installation of required components with a knowledgeable background in 12-volt & 24-volt systems. Perform vehicle upfits and builds on client/fleet vehicle. Maintain daily work schedule. Communicate regularly with management on the progress of the project and any problems encountered. Maintain and review all accurate documentation to ensure all mounting components are properly installed, and the vehicle interior is left in its original condition.
