Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this energetic role, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of automotive systems, ensuring our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will be vital in delivering top-tier automotive service, whether working on GM vehicles or advanced electrical systems. We're looking for motivated professionals eager to apply their dealership experience and technical powers to keep vehicles running smoothly and customers satisfied. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, and electrical systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Service vehicles by replacing parts, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Maintain high standards of safety and quality during all repair procedures while adhering to dealership protocols. Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, estimates, and service timelines to enhance customer service experience. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), vehicle electrical systems, and schematics. Skilled in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and maintenance procedures. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines confidently. Strong understanding of automotive service processes including auto estimating and customer communication. Valid mechanic license or certification relevant to automotive repair; ASE certification is advantageous.
