Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, vehicle suspension systems, and steering mechanisms to restore vehicle functionality. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs, maintenance, and installations across various vehicle systems. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently. Repair or replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components and calibrate sensors to ensure safety features operate correctly. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and engine diagnostics. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimating and communicate repair progress clearly to customers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar brands is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics is essential. Skilled in repairing powertrain components, transmissions, vehicle suspension systems, and diesel engines. Proficiency with automotive service equipment including welding tools, alignment machines, and diagnostic scanners. Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Ability to interpret technical manuals and automotive wiring diagrams accurately.
