Busy South Austin used car dealership is hiring an experienced mechanic to handle full-service repairs on our inventory and customer vehicles, with a focus on trucks. This is hands-on engine and mechanical work. If you can diagnose and fix a problem without hand-holding, we want to talk. What you'll do: Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical, and drivetrain issues Work primarily on trucks, plus a mix of cars and SUVs Get inventory vehicles road-ready and safe for resale Perform inspections and flag what needs attention Keep accurate notes on work performed What we're looking for: Proven experience as a full-service mechanic (engine and major mechanical work, not just maintenance) Strong with trucks and diesel/gas engines Bilingual in English and Spanish (required, since our team and customers speak both) Able to work independently and move efficiently What we offer: Steady, year-round work with consistent volume $25-$50/hr based on experience How to apply: Apply through Indeed or stop by in person
