Join WesTex Collision & Tire as a Lead Mechanical Technician! WesTex Collision & Tire is seeking a Experianced and skilled Lead Mechanical Technician to join our team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using automotive diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components to restore optimal vehicle performance. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in top condition. Perform welding as needed to ensure vehicle integrity. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of various automotive systems. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a good background in automotive repair and maintenance across diverse vehicle types. Dealership experience is highly preferred but not required. Familiarity with GM, Ford and Mopar vehicle's Is a plus. Must be organized and preform professional repairs. Skilled in automotive diagnostics with proficiency in automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting tools. Hands-on experience with wheel alignment, suspension work, tire service, brakes, oil changes, and powertrain maintenance.

Must have your own tools. Must be willing to commute. Must be certified technician. Must have reliable transportation. Must be a team player.
