Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our RV Park team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of park facilities and infrastructure. Your work will directly contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring all systems and amenities remain in excellent condition. This position offers the opportunity to apply a wide range of skills, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facilities maintenance, in a dynamic outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities Perform light electrical repairs (e.g., replacing switches, basic troubleshooting) Assist with basic plumbing maintenance and repairs Conduct general repairs in park facilities, cabins, and rental units Paint units, structures, and common areas as needed Pressure wash RV sites and park areas Perform daily trash collection and general grounds upkeep Maintain and organize tools and equipment Support general maintenance tasks as required Assist with emergency preparedness and park readiness Dispense propane (training provided) Perform basic maintenance on golf carts and park equipment Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and other infrastructure using manuals and schematics Assist with repairs involving welding, painting, or mechanical work Support supervision of renovation or upgrade projects while ensuring safety compliance Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests with a customer-service mindset Skills & Qualifications Responsible, dependable, and proactive attitude Basic experience in handyman work, maintenance, or related fields Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks Strong work ethic and attention to detail Certifications & Training Must obtain Water Treatment Certification and Propane Dispensing Certification Training and certification costs will be covered by the park Schedule Starts at approximately 10 hours per week May increase up to 10 hours based on performance and availability Flexible scheduling options available Benefits Flexible schedule Opportunities for advancement On-the-job training provided

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
