Job Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Shop Helper! In this energetic role, you'll be a vital part of our service operations, assisting skilled technicians with vehicle maintenance, repairs, and restoration projects. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will help keep our shop running smoothly and efficiently. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Assist mechanics with vehicle repairs, including engine work, brake replacements, and general auto maintenance Use hand tools and power tools safely to support repair and restoration tasks Help with vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify issues accurately Support auto body repair processes by preparing surfaces and handling parts Perform heavy lifting to move tires, engines, and other automotive components safely Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols and assist in maintaining a secure shop environment Experience Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with automotive systems preferred Experience using hand tools and power tools is a plus Prior exposure to vehicle maintenance or auto repair environments is beneficial but not required Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Strong willingness to learn about automotive service, repair. Mechanic experience or automotive training is advantageous but not mandatory This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in automotive repair while contributing to a collaborative team.
