Automotive Technician

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently. Complete vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension work with precision. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist with auto estimating processes to determine repair costs accurately for insurance or service purposes. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong foundation in automotive diagnostics and repair. Hands-on experience working with Mopar vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, transmissions, and diesel engine repair is preferred. Familiarity with schematics interpretation, vehicle alignment procedures, welding techniques, and auto estimating software. Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively. Prior experience working on both gasoline and diesel engines in a fast-paced service environment is advantageous.
