In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned technicians eager to showcase their leadership in automotive repair and maintenance. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and suspension components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service equipment to execute repairs efficiently. Execute vehicle alignments, wheel balancing, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure safety and performance standards. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings in auto estimating systems for accurate billing and service history tracking. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. Extensive mechanical knowledge of GM vehicles or similar makes with a focus on powertrain, transmissions, and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment, electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and auto estimating software. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Service technician experience demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, diesel engine repair, welding techniques, and general vehicle maintenance practices.
