Job Responsibilities Complete required computer-based and on-the-job training. Arrive on time in proper uniform with required PPE (e.g., slip-resistant shoes). Maintain a clean, safe work environment; follow safety procedures and use safety equipment. Greet guests professionally and courteously. Attend store meetings, including safety sessions. Adhere to all ABME Auto and Jiffy Lube policies and procedures. Hold hand-held signs or engage in other marketing activities (e.g., handing out coupons). Interact with guests in an energetic, friendly manner. Keep the guest lounge, restrooms, and store surroundings clean. Organize, stock, and clean your work area for easy access to tools. Escort guests to the lounge and provide orientation to amenities. Use protective covers on vehicle interiors (floors, seats, etc.). Drive guest vehicles in and out of the service bay. Check and verify oil levels and filters; adjust tire pressure and fill necessary fluids. Start the vehicle, check oil pressure, and perform upper bay quality inspections. Conduct under-vehicle inspections, remove drain plugs, replace oil filters, and lubricate fittings. Check for leaks, fill gearboxes, and perform lower bay quality inspections. (Following certification, as directed by store management) Pass state background checks and obtain inspection certification. Perform state-required vehicle safety and emissions inspections. Organize and maintain tools, ensuring they are in working condition. (Following certification, as directed by store management) Input guest and vehicle information into the system. Review oil options and services with guests, and present air/cabin filters. Recap services and provide pricing; accept payments and invite guests to return. (Following certification, as directed by store management) Lead the team efficiently, complete reports, monitor workflow, and provide coaching/feedback. Qualifications Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Valid drivers license and the ability to safely drive guest vehicles. Ability to operate equipment such as oil and grease guns, hand tools, radiator machines, tire rotation equipment, and more. Comfortable working in environments with extreme temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes.
