Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, keeping their vehicles in top condition and enhancing their driving experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians passionate about automotive repair and eager to work with the latest technology and tools. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Execute wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance services, and suspension work to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, estimating costs accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed in compliance with dealership standards. Experience Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician or service technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Familiarity with ADAS technology, schematics interpretation, and automotive electrical systems. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, wheel alignment, and welding techniques is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to use auto estimating software and perform auto service tasks efficiently.
