Summary of Position:

Primary duties are to conduct inspections on Citibus vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Include the following: 1. Complies with all Citibus policies and expectations and models Citibus values of Respect, Accountability, Trust and Professionalism in all aspects of job performance. 2. Perform automotive vehicle inspections to ensure compliance to emission standards and governmental regulations. 3. Inspect the following items on the vehicles: Drive Drivers Area System Functions Engine Compartment Exterior Interior Interior Passenger Area Side Compartment Under Carriage and Fluid Service Vehicle Exterior Vehicle Rack Wheelchair Lift 4. Other duties as assigned 5. Some outside working hours may be required for special events and training.

Preferred Qualification Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED and at least six (6) months of mechanical experience working with buses and heavy duty trucks. Education and/or

Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED and six (6) months of mechanical experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

MATHMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATION

Must have a current driver's License and be willing and able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 90 days.
