Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, suspensions, brakes, powertrain, electrical systems, and other vehicle components with precision. Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems. Service and maintain vehicles by replacing parts, performing alignments, wheel balancing, and ensuring proper vehicle maintenance procedures are followed. Applying specialized knowledge to enhance vehicle performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and efficiently. Collaborate with service manager to provide accurate auto estimating and communicate repair progress clearly to customers. Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, suspension, brakes, maintenance, and automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments, wheel balancing and general repairs on vehicles. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools. Excellent customer service skills coupled with the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Valid certifications related to automotive repair; ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is highly desirable.
