Fleet Maintenance Technician

Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and electrical testing equipment to identify root causes efficiently Repair or replace transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, shocks & struts, and HVAC systems to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Conduct fabrication tasks such as welding, soldering, and assembly to modify or repair equipment as needed Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs performed in accordance with company standards Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely to execute repairs accurately and efficiently Support customer service initiatives by providing timely maintenance services that minimize downtime and keep our fleet rolling! Skills Proven experience working with equipment operation including HD pickup trucks, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine repair, automotive repair, brake repair, wheel alignment, tire service, and electrical systems Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting complex systems such as hydraulics, transmissions, air brakes, suspension systems, and AC systems Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering for equipment assembly or repair projects Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately to diagnose issues quickly Excellent problem-solving skills combined with mechanical aptitude to handle diverse maintenance challenges Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions to perform repairs safely Join us as a Fleet Maintenance Technician where your skills keep our operations moving forward!
