Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools to complete repairs efficiently. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, alignment adjustments, and tire rotations to ensure safety and performance. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) data to troubleshoot complex electronic systems. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimating and communicate repair progress effectively to customers. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all repair procedures. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Solid mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment procedures, and schematics interpretation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive maintenance machinery. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; relevant certifications such as ASE are a plus.
