ROLE SUMMARY
The Mechanic position for Dual Drive Technologies is responsible for performing operational support, maintenance, diagnostics, and field repairs on Dual Drive Equipment, as well as providing excellent customer service and keeping accurate records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on Dual Drive Equipment
Troubleshooting and diagnostic testing, and start-ups
Maintaining a parts inventory for the locations
Identifies causes of Dual Drive Equipment issues and recommends corrective actions
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of Dual Drive equipment both during normal working hours and after-hours, weekends, and holidays as directed.
Effectively communicate with customers and the Dual Drive team
Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO)
Additional duties as assigned Required Skills (External)
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level: Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience
Level B requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience
Level A/Lead requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE
Previous experience working with Electric Motor and Natural gas engine-driven compression equipment.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Proven experience with Caterpillar 3600 series engines, Waukesha Gas engines, large electric motors, Ariel
JGC/D, KBU, KBZ
compressors preferred.
Valid State Driver's License
Excellent organizational skills
Occasional overnight travel may be required
Must have strong self-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a group environment
Working Conditions and Requirements:

Work may include confined spaces and may require heavy lifting in excess of 75 lbs. with or without assistance
Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include hazardous products, processes, materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and may require appropriate personal protective equipment (which may include, but may not be limited to, necessary respirators)
Work on and around equipment and facilities that require knowledge of and adherence to safe work procedures and practices
Subject of responding to issues and emergencies after working hours, at night, and on weekends and holidays
Reliable attendance at work
Occasional overnight travel may be required
