In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and safety concerns Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical systems Complete vehicle reconditioning and make-ready services for retail sale Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, tire services, and fluid replacements Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify issues Maintain repair records and communicate vehicle conditions to management Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across gasoline engines, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation required. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, tire service machinery, and other automotive maintenance tools. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; excellent problem-solving skills essential. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
