You'll play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through precise repairs, proactive maintenance, and expert troubleshooting. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Carry out vehicle inspections, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and wheel alignments, ensuring optimal safety and performance. Document all repair procedures thoroughly in auto estimating systems while maintaining high standards of quality control. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment, schematics interpretation, and electronic diagnostics tools. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance procedures. Service technician experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable. Ability to read technical manuals accurately and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
