We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated RV & Trailer Service Technician to join our service department. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, performing high-quality repairs, and taking pride in workmanship. An ideal candidate is reliable, driven, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude who is adaptable and able to flourish in a fast-paced setting while producing quality work effectively and efficiently. If you have experience working on RVs, travel trailers, horse trailers, cargo trailers, or utility trailers and are committed to doing the job right the first time, and if you appreciate a performance-driven environment, we'd like to meet you. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair RV electrical systems (12V and 120V) Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and water systems Diagnose, service, and repair propane (LP) systems Repair and install RV appliances including refrigerators, furnaces, air conditioners, water heaters, ranges, microwaves, and generators Perform roof inspections, leak detection, roof repairs, and complete roof replacements Complete trailer maintenance including wheel bearings, brakes, suspension, lighting, and axle components Perform body repairs, panel replacement, aluminum skin repair, and structural repairs Install and repair accessories including awnings, jacks, solar systems, batteries, inverters, and other aftermarket equipment Accurately diagnose customer concerns and document repair recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards Communicate effectively with service advisors and management Test and verify repairs Monitor repair time and update foreman as needed Utilize critical thinking skills to work through repairs and conduct them as per standards and safety of the dealership Qualifications Minimum 3 years of RV and/or trailer repair experience preferred Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, propane, and appliance systems Experience with trailer body work and structural repairs Ability to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals Ability to transmit technical information clearly in verbal and written formats Ability to drive forklift truck and move large trailers into and out of the shop bays Understanding of and ability to document workflow including diagnose, cause and corrections in sufficient detail Provide labor time estimates to foreman Welding and fabrication experience, steel and aluminum Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment Ability to work in ranging weather conditions Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in quality craftsmanship Is dependable and accountable Works well independently and as part of a team Has excellent troubleshooting skills Treats every customer's trailer as if it were their own If you're an experienced technician looking for a place where your skills are appreciated and quality work is recognized, we'd love to hear from you.
