Job Overview:
Responsible for the safe transport and delivery of liquid products requiring a CDL Class A license and tanker endorsement. Duties include liquid load transfers, tanker operations, equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, site upkeep, and general maintenance tasks. Ensures compliance with DOT safety regulations, proper handling procedures, and operational efficiency while supporting daily facility and equipment needs.
Duties:
Operate CDL Class A tanker trucks for safe transport and delivery of liquid products Perform liquid load transfers using pumps, hoses, valves, and transfer equipment Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle and equipment inspections Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company procedures Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and shipping documentation Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on trucks, pumps, hoses, and related equipment Monitor tank levels, pressures, and transfer operations to prevent spills or contamination Assist with facility, yard, and equipment maintenance as needed Load and unload liquid products safely and efficiently Troubleshoot operational or equipment issues during deliveries and transfers Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment Communicate with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules and operational needs Follow all environmental and hazardous material handling procedures when applicable Support daily operations with general labor and maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles a plus
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload goods as required
- Please understand that some weekend work may be required
