Automotive Service Writer

Service Write (Full‑Time) Freedom Ford - Gunnison, UT Full‑Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-6:00 PM | Saturdays 9:00am-3:00pm | Immediate Start Freedom Ford is looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Service Writer to join our friendly team. This is a front-line position. You will be the face of the service department and the connection between customers and technicians. You must be a hard-working, customer-focused, individual that can handle a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, and keep things organized. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and be the main point of contact in the service department Listen to concerns and help identify vehicle issues Write up repair orders and coordinate with technicians Provide estimates and explain repairs in a clear, honest way Track jobs from start to finish and keep customers updated Handle billing and close out service tickets What We're Looking For Strong communication and people skills Organized and able to manage multiple jobs at once Customer-first mindset Experience preferred but NOT required (we'll train the right person) Automotive knowledge is a plus, but attitude matters more Team player Schedule Full‑time Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-6:00 PM Benefits Small‑town, family‑oriented work environment Stable, full‑time position, paid Holidays, competitive pay Opportunity to grow within a solid dealership team
