Full Job Description Automotive Restoration & Custom Fabrication Technician Location:
Ogden, UT Pay:
Up to $30/hour
DOE Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday About Us:
Alf's Mustang Garage specializes in high-quality custom builds, full restorations, and unique fabrication for classic Mustangs and other vintage and custom vehicles. Our work spans from metal to paint to final detailing — and we take pride in delivering show-quality results with craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Position Overview:
We're looking for a versatile, hands-on technician who can work across multiple areas of automotive restoration and customization. The ideal candidate has strong skills in custom fabrication, body and paint, and interior/finish work, with the ability to adapt to different projects and challenges in a fast-paced, high-quality shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform custom metal fabrication, body modifications, and panel alignment Carry out bodywork, prep, and paint to show-quality standards Install and finish interiors, trim, and accessories Assist with assembly, fitment, and fine-tuning during builds Collaborate with the team to plan and execute project timelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements:
Proven experience in custom car builds and/or full restorations Strong skills in fabrication, welding, bodywork, and painting Knowledge of automotive assembly and interior installation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic set of personal tools required (specialty tools provided) Commitment to quality and precision in every stage of the build
