Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, maintaining their trust and satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to keep vehicles running smoothly. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair equipment to execute repairs efficiently. Complete vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, wheel alignments, and tire rotations. Diagnose and repair Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and other electronic safety features. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems effectively. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards, including GM vehicles when applicable, and adhere to safety protocols. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in an automotive repair environment. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, and suspension components. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and tools for accurate troubleshooting. Familiarity with vehicle alignment procedures and auto estimating processes. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, welding techniques, and general maintenance practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Prior experience working with automotive schematics and electrical systems is highly desirable.
