Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle service and repair. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills to ensure vehicles are maintained, repaired, and optimized for peak performance. Whether working on gasoline, diesel, or hybrid engines, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of automotive systems, including powertrains, electrical systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help keep our customers safe and satisfied while advancing your career in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspension, and alignments. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Repair or replace components such as belts, hoses, sensors, wiring harnesses, powertrain parts, and diesel engines as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards. Conduct wheel alignments and ADAS calibrations to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly. Maintain detailed service records, prepare estimates for repairs using auto estimating software, and communicate findings clearly with customers. Qualifications Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Experience diagnosing automotive electrical systems and working with schematics. Skilled in automotive repair techniques including engine repair, transmission work, diesel engine repair, welding, and general maintenance. Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and understanding of powertrain components. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Prior experience with auto estimating software is desirable.
