Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive vehicle performance and customer satisfaction! In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal operation. Your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge will be vital in delivering top-tier service for diverse vehicle makes and models. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components to restore vehicle performance. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to keep vehicles running smoothly. Repair or replace critical systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and diesel engines with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs, welding tasks, and auto body work when necessary. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various vehicle types. Dealership experience preferred but not required; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation. Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, and brake repair techniques. Hands-on experience with wheel alignment, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and oil change procedures. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Knowledge of auto estimating processes and auto body repair is advantageous.
