Automotive Technician/Emissions/Tire and Lube Tech Rocky Mountain Tire & Service Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Part-time | Full-time 16 hours ago Qualifications Vehicle inspections Automotive fluid replacement Automotive tire balancing Routine inspections Auto service management Working in the automotive repair industry Automotive scheduled maintenance Clean workspace maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Automotive tire rotation Full Job Description Busy shop looking for experienced automotive technicians (auto tech, emissions, tire/lube). Lead tech must have experience in a busy environment and be able to command a shop with integrity. B technician with desire to advance will be given every opportunity to prove themselves and gain experience. I/M license a plus but not required. Shop is centrally located in Murray with excellent freeway access for easy commute. Shop is open on Saturdays. Salary dependent upon experience. Duties vary depending on position but may include: Oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters; Completing automotive repairs and preventive maintenance such as, engine replacement, tune-ups. conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
