Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Performance Automotive Technician to help build our all-star team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in diagnostics, repairs, and modifications, with experience working on a variety of vehicle systems, including drivetrain, powertrain, suspension, braking, steering, and electrical. This role requires working on heavily modified high-performance vehicles, where precision and attention to detail are a must. It also demands a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in vehicle service and repair, with exciting opportunities to work on cutting-edge performance builds. Responsibilities:
Treat every customer's vehicle with meticulous care and respect, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship. Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections, providing detailed reports to customers on the overall condition, regardless of the service performed. Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to accurately identify issues and determine necessary repairs, addressing customer concerns effectively. Execute precise repairs on vehicle components, including suspension, braking, engines, transmissions, and electronics. Service and maintain automotive systems, ensuring optimal performance. Perform high-quality automotive performance modifications and upgrades. Install aftermarket aesthetic and lighting products with precision. Use estimating software to provide accurate repair information to the service advisor for customer quotes. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety procedures. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient workflow and top-notch customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Genuine willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role. Solid knowledge of diagnostics, repairs, and electrical systems. In-depth familiarity with modern automotive electrical systems. Exceptional mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. ASE Certified or willing to obtain within the first 60 days of employment. 609 AC Certified or willing to obtain within the first week of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in high-performance vehicle modifications. Experience with performance modifications and aftermarket parts. Experience with fabrication, including welding (MIG, TIG, etc.). Experience performing 4-wheel alignments and adjusting for ride height and suspension geometry. Tuning experience. Emissions Certified for Davis County.
