Shop/RV Service Technician

About the

Position:

Join our team and put your skills to work! As a Shop/RV Technician, you'll handle a variety of repairs, maintenance, and assemblies across RVs, snowplows, salt spreaders, and garbage truck packers. Year-round work with opportunities to grow and excel in a supportive shop environment.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues in RVs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and battery replacements
• Install, repair, and replace RV components (awnings, AC units, water heaters, etc.)
• Conduct inspections to identify safety concerns and potential issues
• Assemble and prep new RVs to manufacturer specifications
• Assemble, install, and maintain snowplows and salt spreaders
• Assist with wiring and installation on garbage truck packers (experience preferred, training available)
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as an RV Technician or similar technical role
• Strong knowledge of RV systems and components
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Auto body repair experience a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills for record keeping
• State Inspector License (or ability to obtain)
