About Us At the Pohanka Automotive Group , we pride ourselves on offering high-quality pre-owned vehicles and top-tier service. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Used Car Technician to join our growing team. If you're passionate about automotive diagnostics, inspections, and repairs, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Perform multi-point inspections and safety checks on used vehicles Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues Prepare vehicles for sale by performing necessary maintenance and reconditioning Document all work performed accurately Collaborate with service advisors and sales teams to prioritize work Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician (used car experience preferred) ASE Certification preferred, but not required Virginia Safety & Emissions Inspectors License(or the ability to acquire upon hire) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Competitive hourly rate + performance incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and development opportunities
