Job Description

A Service Advisor plays a key role in the automotive industry by serving as the connection between customers and the service department. This position focuses on delivering excellent customer service, managing repair orders, recommending services, and maintaining clear communication throughout the repair process.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Experience:
Previous customer service experience preferred. Automotive industry experience or knowledge of vehicle repair processes is highly valued but not required. Sales or upselling experience is beneficial but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously. Basic automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems a plus. Sales skills with the ability to recommend services professionally. Attention to detail with work orders, parts, and billing. Computer proficiency with scheduling, billing, and service management systems.

Professional, patient, and customer-focused attitude. Team-oriented mindset. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and identify service needs. Schedule and manage service appointments. Provide estimates for repair costs and completion times. Maintain communication with customers regarding vehicle status. Prepare and process work orders and payments. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service completion. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Occasional lifting or handling of automotive parts and materials. Participate in training on and off-site.
Preferred Soft Skills:
Active listening. Adaptability. Conflict resolution and customer complaint handling.
Compensation & Benefits:
Guaranteed minimum salary with potential annual earnings of $90k or more. Weekly pay period. 5
Day Work Week:
40-50 hours Monday through Friday, 7 am
  • 6 pm. No Nights
  • No Weekends
  • No Holidays. 6 Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation. Health Insurance available. Air-conditioning & heating for the entire shop, including work bays
