The Opportunity We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Building Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of our facilities. In this role, you will be the point person for ensuring our buildings remain safe, comfortable, and presentable.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional overtime as needed)

Employment Type:

Full-time What You'll Do As our primary technician in Charlottesville, you will manage a wide range of facility needs, including:

System Maintenance:

Perform routine inspections and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Structural Upkeep:

Handle general building repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.

Vendor Coordination:

Source necessary parts and supplies and oversee specialized contractors for high-complexity projects.

Safety & Compliance:

Proactively identify and report safety hazards and ensure all work is performed using proper PPE and safety protocols.

What You'll Bring Technical Proficiency:

Be able to read schematics and follow technical instructions of moderate complexity.

Physical Capability:

Be comfortable standing/walking for long shifts and be able to lift/move at least 50 lbs.

Independence:

Have the proven ability to work under minimal supervision and manage your own workflow effectively.
