LEHR is seeking highly motivated candidates with a strong work ethic to join our growing team as an Automotive Installation Technician in our new temperature-controlled Chesapeake shop.
Responsibilities:
Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace Organize tools and inventory
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience using hand tools and power tools Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and on a team Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or
GED Preferred:
Experience with 12V electrical systems Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams Entry-level candidates with hands-on experience and electrical and mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
